Stay in an extraordinary place
Possibly the best escape from modern life since running away to the circus!
With history as colourful as its decor, magnificent cut glass and gold leaf painted ceilings, they were known as palaces on wheels. A unique experience that evokes memories of all the performing artistes with their passion and skills that have lived and travelled far and wide to entertain and delight.
The wagon sleeps two in a comfy double bed, but, sorry, is not suitable for children or wheelchair users. One small dog is welcome. Bed linen etc is provided. There is a small kitchen in the wagon with kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge.
Just alongside there is a separate shower room, toilet and sink.
A secluded fenced garden area surrounds the wagon, with bench, table & chairs, firepit and barbeque.
There is parking on the stable yard very close by.
Enjoy the scenery, go for a stroll around the grounds, stables and land, picnic down by the lake with only the sounds of birdsong and a snort of a horse. Relax and watch the sunset and, later, dream under a canopy of stars, with no light pollution.
There are plenty of walking opportunities nearby around the lakes and meres in the area.
Locally, there is boat hire on Ellesmere lake and the Llangollen canal. The welsh borders are close by and it's only 14 miles from the historical county town of Shrewsbury.
